I have photographed lavish celebrations of 1500 people, to being one of the only witnesses when two people promise love to each other barefoot in the sand on a tropical island. Each celebration is so special and Warren & Cheronne’s Mauritius Beachcomber Paradis Golf Resort & Spa destination wedding was no different.

BONA DEA ESTATE | Robert & Nicolette

This was the first time the venue did the event outdoors, and although it was a risk with a week of windy conditions and threatening rain, this evening there was not a breeze. I have photographed a few spectacular weddings at Bona Dea Estate, including the wedding of Robert’s son and daughter-in-law Ian & Jen (Click here to see their wedding photos). I almost feel like part of the family already, so when they phoned me a few weeks ago to be a part of this wedding (yes, they made all of this happen in a mere few weeks, well done team!), it was a resounding yes from me.

12 APOSTLES HOTEL | Dominic & Jucinda

ZANZIBAR WEDDING | Michael & Ruth

A destination wedding in Tanzania and Kenya was always on my bucket list so when I was asked by the super fun couple and now friends Ruth & Michael to be their wedding photographer in Zanzibar, I was very excited!

FEATHER HILL | DOUBLE WEDDING

This double wedding was held at the ever spectacular Feather Hill wedding venue with its magnificent views over Potchefstroom.

Annie is a witty ball of energy and not once did the pouring rain outside dampen the laughter and spirit of the day.
