Hello! I’m Linda Vos, a wedding photographer in Cape Town, South Africa. I travel for destination weddings across South Africa and I am available anywhere in the world.

I love what I do. I am proud to have reached many milestones and honoured to have been invited as speaker for prestigious events like the Admired in Africa Conference, Photo Plus Africa and Photo & Film Expo. Published on various platforms, I have memberships to exclusive societies like Fearless Photographers, MyWed and Admired in Africa who features only the best wedding photographers in the world.

My biggest passion however lies with people – the couples who entrust me the honour of sharing their most intimate moments. No one is quite like you so it’s important to capture your unique style but also every detail that you spent months on planning.

MY STYLE I use both natural and controlled lighting to create a perfect balance of both glamour and emotional storytelling. I avoid following trends but rather get to know you as couple to capture your unique vision for the day. I am not afraid to break technical rules or even brave bad weather for a unique photo! If you however like the just-married-suitcase-on-the-railway-track or the peek-at-each-other-around-a-tree thing, perhaps we won’t be a good match.

Technical skill and professional gear is crucial, but a good wedding photographer also needs a personality that can handle the pressure and responsibility of this important event. This is a skill I developed over years of art and advertising even before I picked up a professional camera for the first time. I graduated from the AAA School of Advertising Cape Town with a Diploma in Visual Communication. This taught me to create something out of nothing, to evoke emotion and tell a story without using a single word. I was a high school design teacher before I went into photography full time and today continue to live out this passion by uplifting the industry and mentoring photographers.
