DUCK POINT VAAL WEDDING VENUE

Duck Point wedding venue on the banks of the Vaal River in the northern Freestate has been on my wedding bucket-list for quite some time. Since moving back to Cape Town, it became a bit harder to market for the northern area but since a lot of my previous clients still live there, I had the wonderful opportunity to travel back for Edmund & Franzelle’s incredible celebration.

The venue did not disappoint and was even more beautiful than photos could do it justice. It is definitely on my list of favourite wedding venues in South Africa! Less than an hour drive from Johannesburg with accommodation on-site, this is an ideal weekend getaway for an exclusive wedding!

Franzelle looked incredible in her Kobus Rautenbach Couture dress which could be modified into three different looks for different parts of the day. She ended off the evening with a fun gold party dress also created by Kobus. Franzelle did a special surprise for Edmund by co-writing a song for him with Riana Nel, and singer Adam Tas welcomed her down the aisle with a goosebumps beautiful rendition of Amazing Grace. As always it was great to work with White Motion Films and I will share the video when it’s done. Congratulations beautiful couple, looking forward to many more special sessions with you in the future!
