Nadine & Billy, Wellington

What an amazing fashion inspired engagement session with Nadine & Billy! Living in Cape Town and Hermanus, Nadine & Billy did not want a session with pretty mountains or beaches but rather opted for something more grungy and urban.

Future note to self: Pack a travel-size mosquito repellent in camera bag when shooting near water! Roelien & Gerhard is the sweetest couple who live in the dryer parts of the Free State, so when they had the idea of doing a fun engagement session with a “green nature” theme, there was only one place to go – Potchefstroom.

Brigitte & Steff, Cape Town

A couple of favourites from Brigitte & Steff’s fun Cape Town engagement session! Brigitte is a bubbly and bouncy blonde who lights up the room and her flowy red dress just fit in so well with the glamorous location of Heritage Square in Durbanville.

Melissa & Francois, Pretville

Stunning and laid-back couple Melissa & Francois thought it would be fun to have an engagement shoot at the film set Pretville in ‘Hartiwood”, Hartbeespoort. It sure was!

Words cannot describe how much I am looking forward to this beautiful couple’s wedding! They are stylish, laid back and at the same time lots of laughter and fun! We had a small session for the couple to get to know me better.

Engagement sessions are usually a get-to-know with me as photographer before a couple’s wedding day, to get them “used” to me and the way I work. So, what do you do if you already know your photographer well? You go as fun and crazy as you can! Needless to say neither of these two got a hug from me after this shoot!

Nabeelah & Wafiq, Chapman’s Peak

All I can say is wow! Beautiful couple Nabeelah & Wafiq are both doctors, so to get their schedules to align, we braved the wind on a cool Wednesday evening in August on Chapman’s Peak in Hout Bay, Cape Town. Although we were freezing up there and had to re-take so many photos because of the gale force wind blowing her gorgeous long hair, the result was totally worth it!

Juanita & Jaco, Bloubergstrand

This really sweet couple braved a very cold and windy afternoon with me on the ever beautiful Bloubergstrand! They wanted a very relaxed and casual session to get used to the camera – we had so much fun with them and looking forward to their wedding. Congratulations Juanita & Jaco!

JESSICA & ALI, Hermanus

Jessica & Ali all the way from Turkey recently got married at the picturesque Bona Dea Private Estate in Hermanus. Like with many international clients, I don’t always get to meet both of them beforehand, so we decided to do a quick get-to-know-each-other beach engagement shoot the night before their wedding.

A few favourites from this amazing fun-loving couple’s Valentine’s day engagement session at Jackson Dam and in the streets of Brackenhurst, Johannesburg!
